The roots of Borniak smokers lie in Poland. Where it started with making and smoking sausage like grandpa always did. There were no smokers yet, but we now sell our smokers in more than 22 countries on three continents!
After trying many constructions for smoking this homemade sausage, more and more serious prototypes were created. To lay the initial foundation for the smokers we sell today, it took us about two years to develop and test the prototype.
The great thing is that our further development does not stop! We continue to make our smokers smarter, better and more convenient. Just to keep improving the ultimate smoking pleasure! Most traditional smokers still work with charcoal and briskets to ensure less consistent smoke development. The inside of the smokers is also often made of plastic. And that makes a big difference compared to the Borniak smokers. The Borniak smokers are well insulated, so you can also smoke at -5 or -10 degrees Celsius. On the other hand, the Borniak smoker retains more and better heat due to the stainless steel interior. Let's be honest, these major advantages may make it more expensive to purchase, but you do have a quality oven at home. Over the past 10 years, Borniak has mainly focused on the quality and further development of the oven and we are happy to continue this!
Naturally! The great thing about a smoke machine is that you don't have to be a star chef to use a smoker. Every hobby chef can use the standard smoker, but for the professional chef we recommend the larger models!
To get started with your new smoker, you'll need smoke moth! You can't actually smoke without a smoke moth. The effect of the smoke moth is therefore great. Here you can give your dish a unique or personal touch with the different flavors. This way you can experiment yourself with our recipes and different wood or fruit chips.

After the smoker has been delivered to your home, you can place it in the desired location, for example in the outdoor kitchen. To get started with your new addition, you will need at least one electrical outlet. The power cord of the Borniak smoker is approximately 150 cm long, so you may need an extension cord to get the smoker in the right place. Once the oven is ready, you can start smoking! Despite the fact that smoking is one of the oldest preparation methods in the world, it remains an underrated preparation of food. You therefore cannot compare it to preparing dishes on a barbecue. The main difference with a barbecue is the fire. With a smoker you do not have an open fire, because you are working with electricity. On the other hand, on a barbecue you always work with an open fire.
Each smoker lists which accessories are included. This way you always get 3x 2L smoke moth for free with the most accessible flavors. Then you can experiment further. The smokers are supplied on feet as standard and you receive three plugs. There are also a number of smoker accessories for sale that make smoking easier or simply more convenient. The smoke generator ensures that the smoke moth slowly smolders. The smoke moth goes into the smoke generator where the smoke moth is burned evenly, creating smoke and not fire. Due to the even combustion of the smoke moth (500 degrees), the food does not turn black and no unhealthy substances are released, but you actually create an aromatic dish, rich in flavor. Place the smoke generator next to the smoker, not in it as with many smokers. By completely filling the reservoir with smoke moth, you can smoke for up to 8 hours without refilling.
